Commercial Loan Officer, Branch Manager

Anderson Brothers Bank

Grand Strand

Age 34

As an Horry County native with more than a decade of banking experience, I am passionate about helping individuals, small businesses, and local organizations access the financial tools they need to grow and thrive. As commercial loan officer and branch manager of Anderson Brothers Bank's North Myrtle Beach office, I focus on building lasting relationships and delivering personalized lending solutions rooted in integrity, service, and a genuine commitment to my community. Giving back has always been a priority. I proudly serve on the North Myrtle Beach Foundation board, helping raise funds that support local nonprofits and community initiatives. I also previously served on Habitat for Humanity's Capital Campaign Committee, raising funds for new home construction. Throughout the year, I volunteer through school supply drives, financial education programs, career days, and community fundraising efforts. I was honored to receive the Rising Star Award in recognition of my contributions to the North Myrtle Beach community, and I remain committed to serving the place I've always called home

Favorite Quote and Why: "Success isn't just measured by what you accomplish, but by the lives you impact along the way." This quote reflects both my professional and personal values. Throughout my career in banking and my community involvement, I've learned that the most meaningful success comes from helping others achieve their goals, strengthening local businesses, and giving back to the community that has given so much to me. Making a positive impact on people's lives is what motivates me every day.

Definition of a Successful Leader: To me, a successful leader is someone who serves others with integrity, earns trust through their actions, and helps those around them grow. Leadership isn't about a title — it's about creating opportunities, building meaningful relationships, and making a positive impact on the people and communities you serve. Whether in my role at Anderson Brothers Bank or through community involvement, I strive to lead by listening, supporting others, and setting an example through service. I believe the best leaders leave things better than they found them by investing in people, encouraging collaboration, and inspiring others to make a difference.

Advice to 18-Year-Old Self: I would tell my 18-year-old self to embrace every opportunity, even the ones that feel uncomfortable or uncertain. Growth happens outside of your comfort zone, and some of life's greatest lessons come from taking chances and learning through experience. I would also remind myself that success isn't a race. Focus on building relationships, serving others with integrity, and staying true to your values. The accomplishments will come, but the impact you make on people and your community is what truly defines success. Most importantly, believe in yourself — you are capable of more than you realize.
