Christy Holder joined Grand Strand Water & Sewer Authority 23 years ago, where she currently serves as CEO. She is a member of the WaterSC Working Group, serves on the CCU board of visitors for the Wall College of Business, and is a member of the Coastal Educational Foundation board. She was named CCU’s 2018 Outstanding Alumnus of the Year and the 2022 Woman of the Year by the Conway Chamber of Commerce. Holder also serves as the past chairman for the board of directors for the United Way of Horry County, serves as the past board chairman and current secretary for the Conway Medical Center Foundation board, and serves as the secretary for the Conway Medical Center board of trustees.
