Mary Jo Rogers

Mary Jo Rogers is executive vice president and chief lending officer with South Atlantic Bank, headquartered in Myrtle Beach. She is a Commercial Banker and Certified Financial Planner with thirty-five years of experience. She joined South Atlantic Bank in 2007 as one of the founding employees. Since opening, the bank has grown to more than $1.8 billion in assets. Mary Jo leads a team of commercial bankers with responsibility for sales and management of the bank’s loan, merchant service, and treasury service lines of business. Mary Jo currently serves on the board and is a faculty member of the South Carolina Bankers School, is the founding chairman of the board of New Directions, and a board member of the Myrtle Beach Downtown Alliance. She is past president of the Myrtle Beach Art Museum, Grand Strand Optimist Club, Better Business Bureau, and Kids Voting of Horry County. She was the recipient of the Leadership Grand Strand Ann DeBock leadership award in 2020.
