Sandy Davis, an Horry County native and Coastal Carolina University graduate, has built her career in operations, finance, and economic development. After 10 years as controller for Carolina Southern Railroad and part-time professor at Horry-Georgetown Technical College, she joined the Myrtle Beach Regional EDC as director of operations, later becoming project manager, vice president, and now president and CEO. She leads industry recruitment and expansion, supports existing industry, and manages relationships with state and local partners while overseeing all organizational operations. Davis has also completed coursework toward International Economic Developer Certification, and lives in Aynor with her husband and son.
